The market square of a town in Mainstreet with stalls, trees and shops all around

What is a business simulation game?

In a business simulation you run a business: you buy supplies, produce, set prices and invest, and the game works out the result. Good business sims reward planning, not reflexes.

Mainstreet is built around a shared market. The other businesses in your town belong to real players, not the computer. Prices, supply and competition come from what everyone does together.

A business, not a click farm.

You decide what your business makes, what you charge, when you open and whom you hire. You order raw materials from the wholesaler or buy them from other players on the market.

You lay out your rooms yourself, and appliances have upgrade levels and wear out. Your business report shows whether a decision pays off.

Real players instead of computer opponents.

Every shop in a town belongs to a player. You share the walk-in customers and the town market. Where people shop comes down to price, selection and reputation.

New industries turn competitors into suppliers: the farm, which comes next, supplies the bakeries. You can look inside other businesses live at any time.

Keeps running while you are offline.

Mainstreet is made for a few minutes a day. Your staff keep working during opening hours, customers keep buying, and everything is calculated when you next log in. Day and night follow the real clock.

With more time, you can fine-tune your workflow, trade on the market or expand.

For anyone who grew up with browser games.

If you used to play Tribal Wars or other browser games, you know the idea: a persistent world, real players, progress over weeks rather than one evening. Mainstreet brings that to the economy.

Competition comes from prices, selection and reputation, not from attacks. And the town is fully 3D, from the market square to the inside of your shop.

Fairly funded.

Your account and the game are free. Diamonds shorten waiting times and unlock designs; you earn them in the game and will also be able to buy them. There are no loot boxes, real money cannot be cashed out, and the location of your plot gives no economic advantage.

How to get started.

  1. Create an account and choose an industry. At launch, that is the bakery.
  2. You get a plot as close to the market square as is currently available.
  3. Clear out the shop, set up your first appliances and make your first goods.
  4. Set prices, hire staff and expand.

The town still has free plots.

One account is all you need, and you pick up where you left off on any device.
