Flight over the town at blue hour: market square with fountain, street lamps, lit shops and traffic

Build your business. Right in the middle of town.

A business simulation in your browser with twelve industries: produce, manage staff and trade with real players. Your business keeps running while you are offline.

Milk from the farm, mozzarella from the dairy, pizza from the oven next door. Every business belongs to a real player.

Twelve industries, one town.

Every industry plays differently, and all of them trade with each other. You can run several businesses, even in different industries.

Customers drop off their car, your team drives it onto the lift. From oil changes to classic cars.

Every business is a customer or a supplier.

If you do not make something yourself, the wholesaler has it, at a higher price. It gets cheaper with the businesses in town.

  1. Town market

Offers from other players with a quality grade. Sell your surplus, used equipment too.

  2. Buy requests

Set the goods, quantity, minimum quality and price. The money is held by the town until someone delivers.

  3. Supply contracts

Fixed deliveries every day, over days or weeks. Reliable suppliers build a reputation.

  4. Supply orders

Canteen, school and hotel order from producers. The florist gets orders for weddings and parties.

Every business starts small.

  1. Take over

A small shop full of leftovers. Clear it out and your first workstation comes to light.

  2. Produce

Make your first goods and serve your first customers. The more often you make a recipe, the better it gets and the more customers pay.

  3. Expand

Extensions, better equipment, your own staff, research. Every level unlocks more, and your business visibly grows.

Equipment with a history

Every device has upgrade levels, wear and maintenance. Skimp on maintenance and you risk breakdowns in the middle of business.

House rules

No loot boxes. No cashing out real money. Every business has its own customers, and location brings prestige but no economic advantage. And nobody loses their business: if you are away for a while, your shop rests.

Frequently asked questions.

When does it start?

We are preparing the launch right now. Join the waitlist and we will email you as soon as you can open your business.

Which industries are there?

Twelve in four kinds: bakery, florist and ice cream parlour as shops, farm, market garden and dairy as producers, café, restaurant and pizzeria in hospitality, hair salon, beauty & massage and car repair shop as services. You can run several businesses, even in different industries.

What does Mainstreet cost?

The account and the game are free. Later you will also be able to buy diamonds with real money. They shorten waiting times and unlock special designs. You also earn diamonds in the game: through level-ups, achievements, the daily bonus and the district crown.

Is it pay-to-win?

Diamonds help you progress faster because waiting times get shorter. They do not buy customers, reputation or a better location. There are no loot boxes, and real money cannot be cashed out.

Do I play with real people?

Yes. Every business in a town belongs to a real player. You trade on the town market, supply each other through requests and contracts and can look into other businesses live at any time. Every business has its own customers, competition in the district is optional.

What happens when I am offline?

Your business keeps running. Your staff work during opening hours, customers shop, and at your next login everything has been calculated, with a report of what happened. On holiday or after a week without a visit your shop rests, nothing is lost.

How much time do I need?

A few minutes a day are enough to keep your business running. More time pays off if you want to optimise processes, trade on the market or expand.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Mainstreet runs in your browser, on desktop and on mobile. Your account works on every device, and you continue where you left off.

Which languages is Mainstreet available in?

English and German. You can switch the language in the game at any time under “My account”.

What happens to my data?

We only store what the game needs: player name, email address, a hash of your password and your game state. For the waitlist only your email address. No advertising trackers and no cookie except for signing in. Read the privacy policy
